Weddings are some of the most beautiful performances that I have done, and I have had the privilege of performing at many weddings. While primarily serving the Tri-state area other locales are possible.
Classical guitar is an elegant enhancement to a wedding celebration. Ceremonies, cocktail hours and rehearsal dinners become even more memorable when accompanied by the unique sound and music of the guitar, whether wedding favorites or other music is what you envision.
Having played for over 200 weddings, I have outlined some of the more popular programs below. Of course, we can collaborate on this to create your own special version of music for your ceremony.
Ceremonies, cocktail hour
For the wedding ceremony (music before, after, and during if desired)
classical "hits” like: Bach’s Air on a G-String, Pachebel’s Canon in D, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Ave Maria, the Prince of Denmark's March, Trumpet Tune, arrangements of Boccherini, Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" or contemporary classics like "As Time Goes By", " A Time for Us", "Here Comes The Sun", "In My Life", "What A Wonderful World" or "Tangerine" by Led Zeppelin, to name just a few.
For the cocktail hour - To welcome guests to the party after the ceremony and make an easy transition to your DJ or band: sparkling or soothing, an international mix of lighthearted fare for guitar from a variety of times and places such as Latin and flamenco guitar music, contemporary classics, charming songs from 19th century Vienna, baroque works from Latin America through the centuries impressionistic French music, even lively dance tunes from Elizabethan England...you name it!
